    About the role#

    A.N. Publishing is looking for a Democratic Political Commentator Intern to contribute to Modern Treatise. This role focuses on providing political commentary from a liberal perspective. You will write one column per week on topics relevant to the publication. This is a 6-month internship.

    What you'll do#

    • Write a weekly column from a liberal perspective.
    • Produce content that relates to the themes covered by Modern Treatise.
    • Develop your writing skills through consistent practice and editorial feedback.

    What you'll need#

    • Political alignment with figures such as Senators Mitt Romney and Tim Scott, and Representatives Young Kim and Mónica De La Cruz.
    • A strong grasp of political philosophies rather than just talking points.
    • The ability to analyze political issues from multiple perspectives.
    • A commitment to using fact-based evidence over political bias.

    Location & details#

    • This is a remote, unpaid, full-time internship.
    • The role is open on a rolling basis.
    • While the position is based in New York, New York, residents of other cities are encouraged to apply.
