About the role#
A.N. Publishing is looking for a Democratic Political Commentator Intern to contribute to Modern Treatise. This role focuses on providing political commentary from a liberal perspective. You will write one column per week on topics relevant to the publication. This is a 6-month internship.
What you'll do#
- Write a weekly column from a liberal perspective.
- Produce content that relates to the themes covered by Modern Treatise.
- Develop your writing skills through consistent practice and editorial feedback.
What you'll need#
- Political alignment with figures such as Senators Mitt Romney and Tim Scott, and Representatives Young Kim and Mónica De La Cruz.
- A strong grasp of political philosophies rather than just talking points.
- The ability to analyze political issues from multiple perspectives.
- A commitment to using fact-based evidence over political bias.
Location & details#
- This is a remote, unpaid, full-time internship.
- The role is open on a rolling basis.
- While the position is based in New York, New York, residents of other cities are encouraged to apply.
