About the role#
The Instructional Design and Facilitation Intern will support the creation, delivery, and evaluation of learning programs. This role provides hands-on experience in both instructional design and live facilitation. You will work with learning and development professionals to design training materials and deliver interactive learning experiences for frontline, operational, and leadership audiences.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the manager and stakeholders to design and develop comprehensive training programs.
- Assist in the creation of instructional materials, including e-learning courses, facilitator guides, participant workbooks, job aids, and videos.
- Apply instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create practical, learner-centered training solutions.
- Conduct quality checks on instructional materials to ensure they meet established design and development standards.
- Assist with facilitating virtual and in-person training sessions, workshops, and learning events.
- Support training logistics and coordination for learning initiatives.
- Collect participant feedback and assist in evaluating training effectiveness.
- Participate in training delivery at manufacturing or operational sites as needed.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
- Strong presentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a team environment.
- Interest in facilitation, workforce development, and operational or manufacturing learning environments.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to support training delivery and learning events.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2026.
- The role is remote, with potential travel to sites as needed.
- The duration is 6 months, with potential for extension based on performance.
