About the role#
AAM is looking for a college student to join the Accounts Payable team at our headquarters in Detroit. This co-op position offers hands-on experience within the automotive manufacturing industry. You will work directly with the team to handle financial processing and support daily operations.
What you'll do#
- Enter and process invoices into the ERP system.
- Research and resolve payment or invoice inquiries from suppliers.
- Reconcile supplier accounts.
- Conduct research within the supplier database.
- Support the month-end close process and assist with ad hoc projects or analysis.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- A graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Ability to work 30-35 hours per week.
- Experience with Excel is preferred.

- This is an on-site role based in Detroit, Michigan.
- This is a paid, full-time co-op position with a rolling term.
