About the role#
This Behavior Analysis Practicum is a full-time, paid position for students pursuing a master's degree in psychology. You will work on-site in a center-based setting to provide early intervention therapy. The program is designed to support your path toward becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
What you'll do#
- Provide early intervention therapy to children ages 18 months to 13 years old.
- Collect data and implement individualized treatment plans for each child.
- Develop your clinical skills under the direct supervision of a BCBA.
- Collaborate with BCBAs and other team members.
- Dedicate 8 hours per week, outside of your direct care schedule, to complete BDS modules.
- Sit for the BACB exam within 6 months of joining the team.
What you'll need#
- Proof of enrollment in an accredited master's program.
- Completion of at least 85% of your required fieldwork hours (1700 out of 2000 hours).
- Completion of all restricted hours.
