About the role#
Albertsons Companies is hiring a Pharmacy Student Intern for our Los Lunas, New Mexico location. This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling start date. We provide sponsorship for eligible candidates.
What you'll do#
- Perform all duties under the supervision of a registered pharmacist or designated pharmacist preceptor.
- Manage the prescription filling process in compliance with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Provide advice and consultation to customers and health care professionals regarding drug therapy, prescription knowledge, and health products.
- Support pharmacy profitability through the implementation of company initiatives.
- Participate in clinical services, including patient counseling, immunizations, and disease state management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in an accredited school of pharmacy.
- A valid state intern license, if required by New Mexico law.
- The ability to adapt to changes in schedule and work priorities.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
