About the role#
The District Manager Internship offers hands-on experience in retail operations. You will work directly with district managers to understand the business side of our stores. This is a full-time, 10-week summer program. Successful interns may be considered for full-time roles after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Shadow store managers and trainees to learn daily operations.
- Assist with administrative tasks like payroll, invoices, memo verification, and sales books.
- Support the hiring process by participating in interviews and orientations.
- Conduct customer walks and store tours to learn about the Customer Satisfaction Pyramid.
- Analyze an operational area to prepare a report and presentation for ALDI executives.
- Help with inventory management and store conditions.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Human Resources.
- Ability to organize tasks and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Capacity to prioritize work and meet strict deadlines.
