About the role#
This is a 10-week summer internship program for students pursuing a degree in Business Administration or Operations Management. You will work 40 hours per week in a full-time capacity. The program provides hands-on experience by working with district managers to understand how ALDI stores operate. Successful completion of the program may lead to full-time opportunities after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Shadow a store manager or manager trainee to learn the fundamentals of store operations.
- Assist with administrative tasks including payroll, sales book maintenance, memo verification, and invoice processing.
- Participate in the hiring process by conducting interviews and orientations.
- Help with inventory management and support store resets or grand openings.
- Research an operational area to prepare a report and presentation for ALDI executives.
- Conduct customer walks and store tours to learn about store standards.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
