About the role#
ALDI USA is offering a 10-week summer internship for the District Manager role. This full-time program provides hands-on experience in retail operations. You will work directly with district managers to understand the business side of grocery retail. Successful completion of the program may lead to full-time employment opportunities after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Shadow a store manager or manager trainee to learn store operations.
- Assist with administrative tasks including payroll, invoices, sales books, and memo verification.
- Support the hiring process by participating in interviews and orientations.
- Help manage inventory and take part in store resets or grand openings.
- Conduct customer walks and store tours to learn about customer satisfaction.
- Prepare a formal report and presentation on an operational area for ALDI executives.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Ability to organize tasks and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Capacity to work under strict deadlines.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

- Location: Salisbury, North Carolina.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Commitment: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $28.00 per hour plus eligibility for overtime.
