About the role#
This is a 10-week full-time summer internship program for Summer 2026. You will work on-site in South Windsor, Connecticut. The role offers hands-on experience in store operations and business management. Successful completion of the program may lead to full-time opportunities after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Shadow a store manager to learn fundamental store operations.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including payroll, invoices, and memo verification.
- Conduct customer walks and participate in store tours to understand customer satisfaction.
- Help with inventory, store resets, and hiring processes like interviews and orientations.
- Prepare reports and presentations on operational areas for company executives.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task efficiently.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
