    About the role#

    This is a 10-to-12-week paid summer internship program based at the Cook Nuclear Power Plant. You will work on individual projects while collaborating with project teams and experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience in the electric utility industry.

    What you'll do#

    • Collaborate with project teams on the planning, design, and execution of enterprise resource projects.
    • Engage in design reviews, training sessions, and constructability assessments to support operational standards.
    • Participate in field visits to operational facilities for inspections and testing.
    • Assist in the development of databases, reports, cost estimates, and dashboards.
    • Support documentation for operational performance and safety initiatives.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Nuclear, Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
    • Completed at least your freshman year of college.
    • A graduation date of December 2027 or later.
    • Must be at least 18 years old.

    • Location: Bridgman, Michigan.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Term: Summer 2027.
    • Employment: Full-time.
    • Housing: A $1,500 monthly stipend is available for those relocating more than 45 miles from their home address.
    • Sponsorship: This position is not eligible for sponsorship, OPT, or CPT.
