About the role#
This internship provides students with hands-on experience in the utilities industry. You will work on projects tailored to your current academic level, ranging from rising sophomores to graduate students. Internships are available in areas including analytics, data science, automation, business solutions, infrastructure, and telecommunications construction.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate directly with your manager on department initiatives.
- Provide recommendations to improve department processes.
- Work both independently and as part of a team.
- Support various technical projects depending on your assigned department.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university.
- Completion of your freshman year of an undergraduate program.
- A minimum 3.0 Grade Point Average.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site position.
- Locations include Columbus, New Albany, and Gahanna, Ohio.
- The internship follows a rolling term schedule.
- A housing stipend may be available for those moving more than 45 miles from their home address.
