About the role#
The Actuarial Intern role is a 12-week summer program designed to provide real-world experience in the insurance industry. You will join the Actuarial team to support profitability through data analysis and efficient decision-making. This position involves contributing to departmental projects and participating in professional development sessions to build your skills and network.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate risk and set appropriate pricing.
- Analyze trends and patterns within insurance data.
- Use predictive models to forecast future risks and trends.
- Contribute to departmental projects and work with cross-functional teams.
- Participate in professional development and leadership exposure sessions.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an accredited institution with Junior standing or higher.
- Pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel, Access, and Word.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative and manage time effectively.

- Location: League City, Texas.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Compensation: Paid internship.
