About the role#
This internship at AMETEK involves contributing to the development of electronic scanners. You will work within the R&D team to support projects and gain hands-on experience in electronic design. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Levis, Quebec.
What you'll do#
- Design electronic schematics and printed circuits.
- Program firmware on microcontrollers, embedded processors, and FPGAs.
- Perform diagnostic testing to identify and resolve issues.
- Repair or replace components on electronic boards.
- Assist in the design of new products.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Electrical or Computer Engineering program.
- Experience in the design, diagnostics, and testing of prototypes.
- Previous experience designing printed circuits.
- Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written.
- Knowledge of C and C++ programming languages.
- Ability to work well within a team.
