About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to join the U.S. Value and Access team during the summer of 2027. You will gain hands-on experience by working on strategies for medicine pricing, coverage, and reimbursement. The program focuses on providing a foundation in the U.S. healthcare system and the biotechnology industry while building your analytical and strategic problem-solving skills.
What you'll do#
- Partner with U.S. Value and Access leaders to support strategic planning and product forecasting.
- Take ownership of a project tied to a current business priority.
- Analyze a real business challenge, develop recommendations, and present your findings to leadership.
- Collaborate with fellow interns in a week-long multidisciplinary case study competition.
- Network with colleagues across the company and engage with Amgen executives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time Bachelor’s degree program at an accredited college or university.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA or equivalent.
- Age 18 or older.
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of basic financial analytical principles.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Majors considered include Economics, Business Administration, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Statistics, Accounting, and Finance.

- This is a remote, full-time, paid internship for the summer of 2027.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. for the duration of the program. Sponsorship for future full-time roles is not guaranteed.
