About the role#
Ancestry is looking for a Product Design Co-op to join our International Growth team. You will help shape how our product functions across the globe by adapting our core experience for new markets. This role is part of our Graduate Co-op Program and requires a six-month commitment. You will work directly with our International Product team to research, design, and test localized features.
What you'll do#
- Partner with International Product, Marketing, Consumer Insights, and Engineering teams to define UX/UI strategies for priority growth markets.
- Translate customer insights and market data into localized product offerings.
- Create wireframes, rapid prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for A/B tests and feature rollouts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the execution of pilots and releases.
- Use qualitative research and quantitative metrics to validate design decisions and improve the international user experience.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Master of Design, MFA, or PhD in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Students in Business or Communications programs with relevant UX/product design experience are also encouraged to apply.
- Prior internship or industry experience in UX/UI design is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with rapid product experiments, A/B testing, and growth optimization.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

- This is a part-time, paid co-op role.
