About the role#
This is a paid, full-time summer 2026 internship based on-site in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. You will work within the HR department to support operations in a corrections environment.
What you'll do#
- Screen resumes and schedule interviews to assist with recruitment.
- Manage employee records and keep documentation up to date.
- Help guide new hires through the onboarding process.
- Join in on employee engagement initiatives.
- Research and report on HR best practices specific to the corrections field.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or Business Administration.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- A high level of comfort handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A genuine interest in the intersection of human resources and the corrections field.
