About the role#
This is a student worker position for a barista at the University of Tennessee Starbucks location. You will work on-site during the Summer 2026 term. This is a paid, full-time role.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and serve beverages to customers.
- Assist customers with their orders and inquiries.
- Operate the cash register to process transactions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the workspace.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Prior experience working in a busy environment.
- Proficiency in customer service and handling money.
- Current enrollment in Business Administration, Psychology, or Communications programs is preferred.
