About the role#
Arconic is looking for an IT Systems & Automation Intern to join our team in Pittsburgh. This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship. You will work with global IT teams to solve real-world business problems and contribute to key project deliverables.
What you'll do#
- Gather and document business needs and processes by working directly with business groups.
- Develop enterprise automation solutions using assigned toolsets.
- Perform application testing for configurations, migrations, and customizations.
- Operate within established Arconic IS standards and conventions.
- Collaborate with global teams to share information and best practices.
- Communicate professionally across various formats, including face-to-face, email, and Microsoft Teams.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a similar IS/IT field.
- Successful completion of relevant IT coursework.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- An expected graduation date in Fall 2027, Spring/Summer 2028, or Spring/Summer 2029.
- Must meet U.S. person status requirements as defined by ITAR regulations.
- Basic understanding of algorithms, systems analysis, database concepts, and networking.
