    About the role#

    Ardurra is hiring a Traffic Engineering Intern for the summer of 2027. This role supports transportation projects for municipalities and public agencies. You will gain experience with real-world engineering tasks and technical skill development.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist in the design and analysis of transportation infrastructure, including roadway and drainage systems.
    • Prepare engineering drawings, technical reports, memoranda, and specifications.
    • Conduct design and modeling, engineering calculations, and material quantity take-offs.
    • Participate in field investigations, tests, measurements, and site inspections.
    • Support permitting, regulatory compliance, and project scheduling.
    • Contact vendors for quotes and help develop construction cost estimates.
    • Review design drawings for accuracy and adherence to standards.

    What you'll need#

    • Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Bluebeam, and Outlook.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Familiarity with Bentley or Autodesk software is preferred.
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
