    About the role#

    Ardurra is hiring a Water Resources Engineering Intern for the summer 2027 term. This role provides exposure to water and stormwater projects that support public agencies and municipalities. You will work with a team of professionals to develop your technical skills and gain experience in the civil engineering industry.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist in the design and analysis of water and wastewater treatment facilities, collection networks, and distribution systems.
    • Prepare engineering drawings, reports, technical memoranda, and specifications.
    • Conduct hydraulic modeling, engineering calculations, and material quantity take-offs.
    • Participate in field investigations, site inspections, and field tests.
    • Contact vendors for budgetary quotes and assist in preparing construction cost estimates.
    • Support project scheduling, permitting, and regulatory compliance documentation.
    • Review design drawings for accuracy and adherence to standards.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program for Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Bluebeam.
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid work ethic.
    • Proficiency or familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software is preferred.

    • This internship is located in Greenville, South Carolina.
    • The role is full-time and on-site.
    • This position is paid.
