About the role#
This Summer 2027 internship offers hands-on experience in public accounting and consulting. You will work alongside professionals at various levels to gain insight into the field. The role focuses on project work, learning, and client interaction to build your professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Gain exposure to financial and IT audits, reviews, compilations, and various projects.
- Learn about client system and control environments and their impact on users.
- Evaluate process risks, develop tests for key controls, and determine the effectiveness of those controls.
- Participate in System and Organization Controls (SOC) audits, IT General Controls support, and SOX engagements.
- Assist with fieldwork to help the firm collect evidence for international organization reporting standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's program in business with an emphasis in accounting.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
- A preference for candidates planning to complete the 150 semester or 225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure between December 2027 and August 2028.
