About the role#
Armanino is hiring a Winter 2028 Tax Intern for our Austin office. This is a full-time, paid internship that offers hands-on experience in public accounting. You will work alongside professionals at various levels and participate in programming designed to build your skills and professional network.
What you'll do#
- Prepare Corporate, Partnership, Trust, and Individual tax returns for clients, including drafts, quarterly estimates, and projections.
- Research current tax regulations to stay informed on federal and state changes.
- Work as an individual contributor and as part of a team to support client engagements across multiple industries.
- Collaborate with team members through meetings, chat, and email.
- Develop proficiency in accounting software through instructor-led courses and self-guided training.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's program in business with an emphasis in accounting.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
- We strongly prefer candidates who plan to complete the 150 semester or 225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure eligibility between December 2028 and August 2029.
