About the role#
This is a 12-month internship within the Innovation and Business Excellence Department. You will support the IT team across three areas: Generative AI and agentic solutions, data solution support, and project coordination. You will work under the guidance of senior team members to translate requirements into small tasks, follow compliance processes, and provide status updates.
What you'll do#
- Configure Copilot Studio agents using templates and update prompts, actions, and connectors.
- Run prompt tests, capture results, and document findings.
- Draft internal documentation, including step-by-step guides, FAQs, and how-to clips.
- Participate in cross-functional AI upskilling sessions.
- Assist with data profiling and investigate straightforward data issues.
- Write and test simple SQL queries for data validation.
- Support basic dbt model updates and Airflow task changes.
- Build or update Power BI visuals and contribute to Power Apps or Power Automate components.
- Maintain tasks in JIRA and Confluence, prepare meeting notes, and track project milestones.
- Gather business needs and translate them into user stories and test cases.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s program in Computer Science, Data/Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Coursework or projects demonstrating skills in SQL, data analysis, and introductory programming.
- Familiarity with at least one of the following: AWS basics, dbt, Airflow, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, JIRA, or Confluence.
- An interest in Generative AI, NLP, and automation.
- A willingness to learn enterprise tools and compliance processes.
- The ability to work in a team, ask clarifying questions, and deliver small tasks on time.

- Compensation: The annual base salary range is 42,908.00 to 56,316.75 CAD.
