About the role#
ATA is hiring a seasonal Tax Intern for the 2027 tax season in our Milan, Tennessee office. This position offers hands-on experience in tax processes and professional development within our tax department.
What you'll do#
- Work with the Tax team to prepare and analyze tax documents.
- Support tax compliance and filing requirements.
- Research tax issues and provide recommendations.
- Gather data from other departments to ensure reporting accuracy.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Provide updates to team members and stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Ability to work at least 15-20 hours per week.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to learn new software programs quickly.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
- A team-oriented and customer-focused mindset.
