About the role#
This 10-week Manufacturing Management Internship for Summer 2027 provides hands-on experience within a plant environment. You will work alongside experienced leaders to explore operations and contribute to projects that impact plant performance. This is a full-time, paid position based in Pittston, Pennsylvania.
What you'll do#
- Learn how a manufacturing facility runs by diving into daily plant operations.
- Lead or support projects focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost performance.
- Analyze processes and recommend improvements through cross-departmental collaboration.
- Attend professional development activities, including a week at the corporate headquarters.
- Meet regularly with plant leaders for check-ins and mentorship.
- Gain exposure to production and support teams while building leadership skills.
- Adhere to all plant safety practices, SOPs, and policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Completion of at least one year of coursework with a graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Ability to work in a 24/7 environment, including 12-hour shifts on the plant floor when necessary.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
