About the role#
The Global Markets Bond Team is looking for an intern to assist with fixed income market research and daily operations. You will support the team in covering US policy, market events, and macro data. This position involves working across departments to support business initiatives and critical tasks.
What you'll do#
- Prepare the US Fixed Income Daily Mark-to-Market report.
- Create the US Fixed Income Daily Relative Value report.
- Manage daily operational contact with the middle and back offices.
- Assist with CIBM bond investment and hedging tasks across front, middle, and back office functions.
- Conduct research on macroeconomics and monetary policy.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics. Current juniors or seniors are welcome to apply.
- Intermediate coding skills in SQL, R, Python, Java, or C++.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Foundational knowledge in research and macroeconomics.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members on research projects.

- Compensation: $19.00 per hour.
- Status: Full-time internship with a rolling term.
