About the role#
This is a PRN position for a Respiratory Therapy Tech Student at Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville. You will work variable shifts as part of our respiratory services team.
What you'll do#
- Perform routine respiratory care procedures as defined by the Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care.
- Support respiratory therapists and technicians in their daily care duties.
- Help maintain respiratory therapy equipment.
- Work under the supervision of a respiratory therapist or technician for procedures where you have received training.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an approved respiratory care program, verified by an official transcript.
- Completion of at least six months of didactic training in a respiratory program with a passing grade.
- A state license as a student from the Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care.
- A BLS certification.
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
