About the role#
This is a 10-12 week paid internship for Summer 2027 based at our production facility in Amsterdam, New York. You will join the Quality Assurance team to support food safety research, product testing, and data analytics. This role is on-site and requires adherence to strict safety protocols, including the use of protective gear like hairnets, lab coats, and safety glasses.
What you'll do#
- Support food safety research projects, including heavy metals in root vegetables and phytonutrients in produce.
- Review Federal and State regulations and read current literature to support our food safety plans.
- Participate in corporate meetings, roundtable discussions, and networking events.
- Assist with product testing and new product innovation efforts.
- Collaborate with various departments to acquire professional skills and complete value-added assignments.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Nutrition, or Public Health. Students beginning a master’s program are preferred.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Authorization to work in the United States for the entire duration of the internship.
- Above average skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.

- Compensation: $16.50 per hour, paid bi-weekly.
