About the role#
Benesch is hiring interns for our Transportation and Highway Design teams. This role offers the chance to work alongside experienced professionals on infrastructure projects. You will gain exposure to project sites and receive mentorship from senior engineers.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to highway and roadway design projects.
- Perform traffic analysis and assist with plan preparation.
- Gain hands-on experience with engineering design software.
- Learn about construction documentation processes.
- Participate in collaborative project delivery.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- A strong interest in highway, roadway, or transportation engineering.
- Familiarity with design software such as MicroStation or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Experience with Geopak or 3D modeling is a plus.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple assignments.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to reach project sites.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- Work is on-site in either Allentown, PA or King of Prussia, PA.
