About the role#
Benesch is hiring a Transportation Engineering Intern to join our team in Pittsburgh. You will work alongside experienced professionals to support highway and roadway infrastructure projects. This position offers hands-on experience in design and project delivery while providing mentorship from senior engineers.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to engineering projects involving highway and roadway design.
- Perform traffic analysis and prepare project plans.
- Gain experience using engineering design software.
- Assist with construction documentation.
- Participate in collaborative project delivery tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program for Civil Engineering or a related field.
- A strong interest in highway, roadway, or transportation engineering.
- Familiarity with design software such as MicroStation or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work well within a team environment.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple assignments.
- A valid driver license and reliable transportation to reach project sites.
