About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site in either Los Angeles or Newport Beach, California. The program runs from June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027. We require candidates to be available for the entire duration of the program.
What you'll do#
- Analyze credit information to support lending decisions for new and existing commercial banking loans.
- Perform financial analysis and calculations to provide recommendations to your manager.
- Prepare detailed credit summaries to assess creditworthiness.
- Monitor portfolio performance for assigned commercial banking clients.
- Manage accurate data entry into our systems to support decision-making.
- Structure and support loan renewals and extensions in line with bank policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Foundational proficiency in financial analysis, loan structuring, data analysis tools, and regulatory compliance.
- Preference for candidates with relevant experience in credit, lending instruments, or financial operations within a corporate or banking environment.
