About the role#
As a Private Wealth Administrative Assistant, you will provide professional support to managers and their direct reports within the Private Wealth division. This role involves performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to ensure operational efficiency. You will participate in the planning and coordination of department events and support the overall business group by maintaining documentation and office standards.
What you'll do#
- Manage and monitor calendars, dispatch meeting invitations, and book meeting rooms.
- Develop and maintain filing systems for paper and electronic documentation.
- Support the development, writing, and distribution of communications, including presentations and correspondence.
- Process invoices for payment and prepare departmental expense reports.
- Make travel arrangements and maintain the office supplies inventory.
- Coordinate staff training requirements and manage vacation and absence scheduling.
- Liaise with internal business units and external vendors regarding premises and building matters.
- Analyze issues, determine next steps, and apply the Risk Management Framework to all tasks.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary degree program in Business Administration or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in an administrative or professional support function.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organization, collaboration, and team-working abilities.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic specialized knowledge relevant to the role.
