About the role#
This position supports the daily operations of biology laboratory courses. You will help maintain the lab environment and ensure the science building remains a safe and orderly space for students.
What you'll do#
- Prepare reagents and supplies for lab courses.
- Set up and tear down laboratory equipment for experiments.
- Assist students with gathering necessary materials.
- Keep the laboratory clean and safe.
- Track inventory levels and request new orders when supplies run low.
- Monitor building activity and enforce student life policies during nights and weekends.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Bob Jones University.
- Enrollment in Biology, Premed, Pre-dent, or Biochemistry and Molecular Biology programs. Students in other Natural Sciences or Science Education programs are also considered.
- Ability to execute basic laboratory techniques with accuracy.
- Demonstrated leadership or collaborative skills.
