About the role#
Join a team of students to clean and maintain campus residence halls and other select locations. This is a paid, on-site position with a typical schedule of 12 hours per week. You will work two hours each weekday, plus one hour on Saturday and Sunday. The schedule is flexible based on your availability.
What you'll do#
- Take ownership of your assigned area and keep it organized.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms using established practices.
- Sweep, mop, or vacuum floors and stairs.
- Empty and clean trash containers.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces in study lounges, vending rooms, and laundry rooms.
- Follow instructions for the use of chemicals and supplies.
- Report maintenance needs and schedule changes to your area supervisor.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a student at Bob Jones University or Academy (minimum age 14).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative and follow instructions.
- Physical ability to stand, stoop, squat, lift, carry, and push.
