About the role#
This is an eight-month co-op position based in Gwinner, North Dakota. You will work as a member of the IT team, serving as the primary interface for end-user computing services. This role involves direct interaction with customers and analysts to resolve technical issues that cannot be handled by first-tier support.
What you'll do#
- Provide support for end-user platforms, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
- Maintain desktop images and standardization across the company.
- Manage security and malware protection packages.
- Repair PC hardware and peripheral equipment.
- Document, track, and monitor technical problems to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with network, datacenter, and application development teams to restore services.
- Simulate user problems to identify solutions and recommend system modifications.
What you'll need#
- Junior or Senior standing in a Bachelor's degree program for MIS or Computer Science.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Ability to commit to the full 8-month term.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows software (XP and newer) and Windows Server (2008 and newer).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of PC hardware and client computing technologies.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to follow written instructions.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage a technical workload.
- High level of independence and motivation.

- Status: Paid, full-time, on-site.
