About the role#
The Summer Associate program is an 8-week internship beginning in Summer 2027. You will work on quantitative and qualitative projects that range from subject matter research to data collection and the preparation of economic, statistical, and financial analyses. This program is a pipeline for full-time roles, and we aim to convert interns to Associates upon graduation. You will receive support through dedicated mentors, training programs, and hands-on learning opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Develop a practical understanding of industries, markets, legal claims, and business issues by gathering information from client records, academic literature, and commercial databases.
- Identify, collect, maintain, and analyze data, spreadsheets, and qualitative materials.
- Combine programming, model building, and statistical analysis using relational database and statistical software.
- Interact with senior staff, experts, and clients to communicate findings, questions, and recommendations.
- Provide contributions to client deliverables and expert reports.
What you'll need#
- Progression toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Accounting, Business, Finance, or Health Administration.
- Expected graduation date between Winter 2027 and Summer 2028.
- A 3.6 GPA or higher is preferred.
- Demonstrated interest in applying analytics to business, financial, legal, regulatory, or policy questions.
- Experience with statistical, econometric, and programming tools such as Excel, Stata, R, Python, or SQL.
- Ability to provide verification of your legal right to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
