About the role#
The Health Analytics Practice internship at BRG offers a blend of quantitative and qualitative work. You will build technical skills while contributing to projects that shape legal and business outcomes. This program runs from Fall 2026 through May 2027. Interns work up to 20 hours per week in our downtown Chicago office. We provide dedicated mentors, training, and hands-on learning, with the goal of converting interns to full-time Associates after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Develop a practical understanding of industries, markets, legal claims, and business issues.
- Identify, collect, maintain, and review data, qualitative materials, and spreadsheets.
- Combine programming, model building, and statistical analysis skills using relational databases and statistical programs.
- Interact with senior staff, experts, and clients to communicate questions, findings, and business concepts.
- Provide contributions to client deliverables and expert reports.
What you'll need#
- Progression toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Accounting, Business, Finance, or Healthcare Administration.
- Expected graduation date between Winter 2027 and Summer 2028.
- A 3.6 GPA or higher is preferred.
- Demonstrated interest in applying analytics to business, financial, legal, regulatory, or policy questions.
- Experience with statistical, econometric, and programming tools such as Excel, Stata, R, Python, or SQL.
- Ability to provide verification of your legal right to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
