About the role#
As a Product Management Intern within the Mercury Marine Parts & Accessories team, you will gain hands-on experience in the marine industry. You will support daily operations, conduct market research, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage product lines. This role involves working with marine engines, parts, and oils while contributing to business development initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Conduct competitive market research and evaluate pricing, product positioning, and placement.
- Develop dealer catalogs and create product descriptions and website content.
- Support daily product management tasks, including SKU rationalization and sales reporting.
- Perform market assessments to identify growth opportunities and analyze industry trends.
- Maintain and update pricing data and cross-reference lists.
- Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to support product initiatives.
- Present recommendations for product line enhancements based on your analysis.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in business, management, marketing, or CPG in retail.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong data analysis and management skills, with the ability to present findings clearly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills to build and maintain working relationships across the organization.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Location & details#
- Location: Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Compensation: $18.00 - $27.50 per hour.
