About the role#
CACI is looking for interns to join a 12-week program starting in May 2027. You will work on the GROUPER contract, which focuses on research, development, test, and evaluation for the United States Space Force. This role involves contributing to projects that support national security and RF collection capabilities. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team alongside mechanical, electrical, computer, and RF engineers.
What you'll do#
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for tactical systems and sensors.
- Support system imaging and software releases.
- Build and maintain servers, developer environments, and tactical development networks.
- Assist in planning, conducting, and evaluating project objectives.
- Analyze, design, develop, and maintain products while assisting with commercialization.
- Design testing procedures and coordinate testing for tactical systems and software frameworks.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Proficiency in Linux and modern programming languages like Java or Python.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Git, Ansible, or Puppet.
- Knowledge of computer networking and large-scale software design processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a team under the guidance of a mentor.
- A GPA of 3.3 or higher is preferred, as is previous internship or work experience.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site in Westminster, Colorado.
- The role is part-time and requires up to 10% travel within the continental United States.
- Compensation is between $43,900 and $87,900.
