    About the role#

    This position is for a Pipelines Engineering Student within the Development Operations team. You will work on the planning and execution of oil and gas pipeline and facility projects. This is an on-site role based in the Calgary head office.

    What you'll do#

    • Support the engineering team by developing project scopes, designs, and documentation for project optimization.
    • Gain experience in pipeline and wellsite construction, including inline inspections, free standing liners, and composite pipelines.
    • Analyze historical cost data to create accurate cost estimates.
    • Prepare and distribute RFP packages for pipeline and well site projects to potential contractors.
    • Use industry software programs such as Maximo, Abadata, Accumap, Cambio, Aucerna, and Tableau.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of an engineering degree program. Preferred disciplines include Chemical, Process, Mechanical, Energy, and Petroleum/Oil & Gas.
    • A valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license or an equivalent license from another province.
    • Ability to stay organized, collaborate with others, and manage competing priorities.
    • Legal authorization to work in Canada without restrictions.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Calgary, Alberta.
    • Term availability: Summer 2027 and Fall 2027.
    • Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.
    • This is a paid, full-time student position.
