About the role#
This internship provides exposure to Outsourced Accounting Solutions (OAS) within a consulting environment. You will work on client assignments and gain practical experience with financial processes. This is a paid, full-time position for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Support back-office functions including payroll, accounts payable, billing, and reconciliations.
- Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual close work papers.
- Ensure client transactions follow established policies and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Assist the OAS team with ad hoc tasks like creating templates, preparing journal entries, and researching information.
- Learn how to manage multiple client work assignments.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, and manage multiple tasks.
- Experience with Quickbooks, Xero, NetSuite, or Bill.com is helpful.
- Strong analytical, research, and project management skills.
