About the role#
As an Audit & Assurance Intern at CCK Strategies, you will assist our teams with financial audits, reviews, and compilations. You will work with entrepreneurial clients across various industries to provide quality assurance services. This role requires an advisory mindset and a strong grasp of accounting concepts.
What you'll do#
- Prepare engagement workpapers and complete documentation that meets firm and industry standards.
- Identify and communicate risks to your engagement team.
- Work directly with clients when the project requires it.
- Complete assigned sections of engagements within budget and address review notes in a timely manner.
- Provide training to less experienced staff under the supervision of a senior or manager.
- Stay current on audit and accounting standards while following information security policies.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage your time effectively while balancing changing priorities and deadlines.
- Capacity to adapt to different projects and think critically to resolve issues independently.
- Willingness to travel to client locations locally or out of state when necessary.
