About the role#
As an Audit & Assurance Intern at CCK Strategies, you will support our team in delivering quality assurance services to clients. You will work on financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations while gaining exposure to various industries. This role requires an advisory mindset and the ability to apply accounting concepts in real-world scenarios.
What you'll do#
- Assist Staff and Seniors with the preparation of engagement workpapers.
- Complete detailed workpaper documentation that follows firm and industry standards.
- Identify and communicate areas of risk to the engagement team.
- Apply basic accounting principles to daily tasks.
- Work directly with clients as needed.
- Follow all information security policies to protect sensitive data.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program in Accounting or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective time management to handle changing priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to a wide variety of projects.
- Critical thinking skills to resolve challenges independently.
