About the role#
We are looking for a tax intern to join our team for the Summer 2027 program. This paid position offers 30 to 40 hours of work per week. It is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in the financial industry and a chance to apply their academic studies to real-world tax projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the preparation of federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals and businesses using UltraTax CS.
- Create and organize workpapers using Engagement Manager and SurePrep.
- Manage project status and workflows through FirmFlow and GoFileRoom.
- Research and analyze various tax issues as they arise.
- Participate in financial planning projects as assigned by tax advisors and administrators.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate program at an accredited university with a minimum 3.2 GPA.
- A major in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe applications.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information.
- Participation in campus organizations or previous professional work experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- This position is based on-site in Louisville, Kentucky.
- The internship takes place during the summer of 2027.
