About the role#
We are looking for a Tax Intern to join our team for the Summer 2027 program. This paid internship provides 30 to 40 hours of work per week. It is designed to help students bridge the gap between formal education and professional experience within the financial services industry.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the preparation of federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Participate in financial planning and tax projects as assigned by the team.
- Create workpapers using Engagement Manager and SurePrep to document project preparation.
- Manage workflow status by using FirmFlow and GoFileRoom.
- Research and analyze tax issues.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate program at an accredited university with a minimum 3.2 GPA.
- A major in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe applications.
- Active participation in campus organizations, ideally in a leadership role, or relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work well with others.
- High attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
