About the role#
This is a year-round legal internship based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The program runs from fall 2026 through summer 2027, with a potential extension into the 2027-2028 school year. You will work with the Corporate and US & Canada Global Legal Operations teams, which include six lawyers and two paralegals. This role is paid and requires the ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
What you'll do#
- Solve real-world business problems by applying your educational experience.
- Draft, review, and negotiate customer and procurement contracts.
- Assist with intercompany loans, written consents, and other legal documentation.
- Research changes in laws and industry standards that affect the business.
- Develop and refresh training materials for legal topics and risk management.
- Analyze contractual disputes and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with peers and present project findings to the executive leadership team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in law school with 1L or 2L standing.
- Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
- An interest in contracting, corporate law, and dispute resolution.
- A self-starting attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work as a U.S. citizen or hold a legal right to work in the U.S.
Location & details#
- Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
- Modality: Hybrid. During the school year, you will work a minimum of 10 hours per week, with approximately 1 day per week in the office. During summer 2027, you will work approximately 40 hours per week, with 2-3 days per week in the office.
