About the role#
Coalfire is seeking interns for the Summer 2027 Compliance Advisory team. This is a paid, 10-week full-time program running from late May through August. You will work alongside experienced professionals to gain practical experience in cybersecurity and compliance consulting. We are looking for students graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
What you'll do#
- Participate in control testing interviews for client engagements.
- Assist the team with gathering information and security artifacts.
- Analyze security control artifacts against compliance standards.
- Use technical writing skills to document your analysis and findings.
- Develop recommendations for improving client compliance processes and controls.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Computer Science or Cybersecurity degree program.
- Academic or practical experience in the compliance or cybersecurity field.
- Strong drive, professional acumen, and an aptitude for technical problem-solving.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Denver, Colorado.
- You may work in a remote or hybrid capacity depending on your location and preference.
