About the role#
Coffeyville Regional Medical Center is hiring a Nurse PRN Intern to support our clinical team. You will work under the supervision of licensed personnel to provide direct patient care and assist with daily operations. This is a paid, on-site internship for students currently enrolled in a nursing program.
What you'll do#
- Provide direct care to patients under the supervision of licensed staff.
- Obtain vital signs and weights, and report results.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Help with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Perform glucometer testing and document results.
- Maintain a clean and orderly environment by stocking supplies and cleaning rooms.
- Assist with patient mobility, including repositioning and transporting patients.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited nursing program.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current BCLS certification.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting of 50-100 lbs occasionally.
- Basic computer literacy and effective communication skills.
