About the role#
The Human Resources Intern will support the HR department with daily administrative tasks, recruitment, employee onboarding, and record keeping. This role offers hands-on experience in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and compliance. We are looking for an organized individual who wants to learn about human resource management practices.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the onboarding process for new employees.
- Manage and oversee the monthly insurance billing process.
- Support the planning and coordination of company events.
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the department.
- Scan, index, and organize documents and files into OnBase.
- Contribute to special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Must be actively working towards a college degree in Human Resources.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Basic math skills with the ability to calculate and analyze data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, be flexible, and take initiative.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work well with all levels of the organization.
