About the role#
Ferguson Construction is hiring Co-ops for Summer 2027 to work in both field and office environments. This program provides students with hands-on experience in the construction industry through mentorship and direct project involvement. You will work alongside professionals to learn how we manage projects from start to finish. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
Field Co-ops work directly with our craftworkers to learn skilled trades and contribute to project completion. Your daily tasks include:
- Assisting onsite with safety protocols and quality control.
- Participating in project planning and scheduling.
- Managing project costs.
- Collaborating with project stakeholders.
Office Co-ops provide essential administrative support to keep our operations running smoothly. You will assist various departments, including:
- Operations and leadership teams.
- Project management.
- Human Resources.
- Engineering, safety, and architecture teams.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current college student enrolled in a related field, such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or Human Resources.
- A genuine interest in commercial construction and a desire for professional growth.
- Strong relationship-building skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with the construction industry and an interest in long-term career development.
- Note: We do not provide visa sponsorship.
